5 hours of exquisite kayaking on the water with three boats
a wild panoply of full-spectrum weather beginning with 85 degrees and hot sun, moving through a darkening sky, into stinging rain and choppy water. we paddled to Missy Island and made a campfire and grilled porkchops and a red pepper but forgot plates.
so
we had PORK ON A PADDLE.
the pollen made paintings, amazing patterns in the water.
grey thunderclouds on the way home with a little burst of rain that built a rainbow.
we are very tired people. happy. tired. tired. happy.
finally i catch up and, WOW, you and the mister are way the hell up there!! you made good time.
